Harvest Festival at Burncoat Center for Art & Wellness

Last weekend, I went to the Burncoat Harvest Festival at the Burncoat Center for Art & Wellness.

This was the second festival I’ve been to there and I’m looking forward to the next one already.

They put together a great day of vendors, good music and food, and opportunities to support the community.

The Food!

One of the highlights for me was Buttered 508‘s Apple Pie Smores Biscuits. They’re just for fall so if you get an opportunity to try some, do it before they’re gone.

I also picked up a couple of great doughnuts from Doh! Girl (Pumpkin and Apple Cider, of course).

Volunteers in costumes - a refrigerator and a carrot, at the Woo Fridge table collecting donations and handing out candy and information about how to support their mission.

Super Heroes!

On my way out I met two of Worcester’s Super Heroes who introduced themselves as “Fridge and Carrot”. In true super hero fashion, they didn’t reveal their real identities, choosing instead to focus on representing Woo Fridge in the battle against food insecurity in Worcester.
